Taste Skill GitHub: Find the Project and Choose a Setup Route

Identify Leonxlnx/taste-skill, check its current skill name and requirements, and prepare a bounded frontend design trial.

GUIDE · SOURCES REVIEWED

The project is Leonxlnx/taste-skill, with its linked site tasteskill.dev. It supplies agent instructions for frontend design. It is not a standalone website host or a guarantee that an agent's output meets your design requirements.

Current identity and setup

On October 30, 2026, the README identifies design-taste-frontend as the current skill. It provides a skills-CLI installation path and separate plugin instructions, lists Node 22+ and an installed Chrome/Edge/Chromium, and says picture discovery needs network access. The repository is marked MIT; sourced photographs have their own licences and credits.

Use the README's route for the agent you actually run. It also documents older skills that moved to other repositories. Copying an older tutorial's name may therefore point to a different package or version.

Prepare a brief the agent can use

Before applying the skill, write down:

  • What the page helps its visitor do.
  • Which real text, imagery and brand material are available.
  • The existing framework and components it must preserve.
  • The screen sizes and key actions you will check.

Those details let you judge the result against your product. A dramatic screenshot alone does not show whether the visitor can complete the task.

Evaluate one small page

Use a disposable project or an isolated copy of a page. Review the produced layout, source changes and image credits. Check the page at its intended widths and follow its main action. Keep the parts that help the user's task; request a specific correction for the rest.

The upstream README describes a browser-checking design workflow. That is a process claim, not an independent measurement of how your chosen agent will perform. Varwo has not installed the skill or compared generated pages for this guide.

For a related agent-oriented media workflow, see HyperFrames. A frontend design skill and a video framework solve different delivery tasks.
