HyperFrames GitHub: Official Repository and First Render Path

Find HeyGen’s HyperFrames repository and understand its HTML-to-video workflow, requirements and preview-to-render checks.

GUIDE · SOURCES REVIEWED

The official HyperFrames project is heygen-com/hyperframes on GitHub, linked with hyperframes.heygen.com. It is a framework for creating video from HTML, designed to work with coding agents. This page is a source/navigation guide, not a video renderer.

What to read first

The repository README provides agent skills and a manual CLI path. It lists Node.js 22+ and FFmpeg as requirements and shows a project workflow of initialization, browser preview and MP4 rendering. The repository identifies the project licence as Apache-2.0. Requirements and licence were checked October 30, 2026; assets, generation services and third-party dependencies can have their own terms and costs.

Follow the README's current instructions for your agent or manual setup. Do not assume that installing every available skill is required for a first project; the documentation distinguishes the core set from optional workflows.

Define a first deliverable

Start with one short video, one aspect ratio and an explicit duration. Decide what must be visible at the beginning, middle and end. Prepare media you have permission to use and keep its origin with the project.

Then follow the documented production loop:

  1. Create the project using the current upstream setup route.
  2. Build a small composition and inspect its browser preview.
  3. Check timing and framing at several positions, including the last frame.
  4. Render the final file and inspect the exported result separately.

A preview that looks correct does not prove that the exported audio, timing or media paths work. Save the command output and the rendered file when evaluating your own setup.

When to use another editor

An HTML-based composition suits repeatable titles, graphics and programmatic layouts. For a media-heavy timeline workflow, compare the task with a conventional editor such as FilmCraft. Choose based on the deliverable and editing work you need, rather than treating either workflow as universally faster.

Varwo has not installed HyperFrames or rendered a sample for this guide. Upstream showcase videos demonstrate the project; they are not our test results.
