Archify: Architecture Diagram Skill and Setup

Understand the Archify agent skill, its diagram workflow and verification limits.

GUIDE · SOURCES REVIEWED

tt-a1i/archify is an agent skill for turning a description or codebase into an interactive architecture diagram. Several unrelated products use the name Archify; this guide covers the GitHub project by tt-a1i.

From codebase to diagram

The project describes an agent producing structured diagram data, running validation and rendering a portable HTML artifact. Its installation options differ for Claude Code, Codex and other environments; use the repository’s installation section for your tool and inspect the skill before adding it.

Give the agent a specific system boundary, audience and desired view. Check every important component and connection against the actual source or documentation. A polished diagram or a passing format validator does not establish that the topology is complete or correct.

Archify describes itself as a communication artifact rather than a general drawing editor. For a simple diagram, a manually maintained text diagram may be easier to review; for an interactive handoff, evaluate whether its generated output fits your recipients’ needs.

Documentation checked November 4, 2026. Varwo has not installed the skill or generated a diagram.

A useful first diagram

Ask for one bounded request flow: a browser, an API, a cache and a database. State which repository or documentation should establish the connections, then compare every arrow against those sources. For an interactive handoff, open the generated HTML and test labels and navigation with its intended audience. The example is an editorial suggestion; Varwo has not generated or tested it.

The project site and repository describe the same agent-skill project; other products named Archify need separate verification.
