WhatsApp Scheduled Messages on iOS Beta: Reported Rollout

Understand the reported iOS beta scheduling feature, why it may be missing from your account and what remains unconfirmed for general release.

GUIDE · SOURCES REVIEWED

WhatsApp scheduled messages on iOS are reported as a gradual beta rollout, not a feature confirmed for every iPhone user. WABetaInfo's October 22 report identifies iOS beta 26.42.10.19 as a compatible build and says only some testers initially receive it.

Reported workflow

WABetaInfo describes composing a message, holding the send button and selecting a date/time on the scheduling screen. It reports a minimum lead time of ten minutes and a maximum of two weeks, plus a scheduled-messages section in chat information for reviewing or deleting pending items.

Those are the publisher's beta observations, checked October 30, 2026. Varwo has not installed that build, scheduled a message or verified delivery while offline. The report says a general release date has not been announced.

If the option is missing

A compatible version number does not establish that a staged account rollout has reached you. Confirm whether you are using the intended official beta or public app, then check the currently visible feature and release information. Do not assume an unrelated scheduling app provides the same native behavior.

Before relying on scheduling, try a harmless message with a willing recipient. Check the displayed timezone/date, the pending entry, cancellation and the eventual delivery result. For an important deadline, retain another way to confirm the recipient received the message.

Native scheduling versus an automation workaround

A built-in scheduled-message feature, a phone automation and a reminder to send manually are different workflows. They can have different connectivity, confirmation and account requirements. Check the actual route you use instead of describing every workaround as the beta feature.
