Higgsfield Genjutsu: Motion Transfer and Object Swap Guide
Genjutsu transforms an existing video using motion or selected-element changes. Choose a mode by what should change and what the original shot needs to retain.

Documentation checked November 1, 2026. We did not upload a clip, purchase credits or generate a result. The described workflow comes from the provider's help, with an original evaluation checklist.
Choose a mode by the intended change
| Intended result | Documented mode |
|---|---|
| Keep the motion while building a different scene around it | Motion transfer |
| Replace a specific person, object, outfit or text within a shot | Object swap |
The official help describes using its Motion Library or an uploaded clip, adding reference images and choosing what to change. It says a prompt is optional for preset workflows. Its preservation language is a product claim; we did not independently verify frame-level consistency.
Prepare a useful first test
Pick a short clip with one clearly visible subject. Decide which element may change and list the features that should remain stable: movement, framing, timing or an untouched object. Supply references appropriate to that requested change and compare the output against the original, especially at occlusions and transitions.
This checklist is untested. It is not evidence that the tool preserves every frame or will deliver a usable edit on the first attempt.
Genjutsu and Lite are not interchangeable specifications
The product page separately advertises Genjutsu Lite, including up-to-30-second clips and 720p/1080p options. Confirm the selected mode's current input and export controls; do not apply one version's limits or price to another. We did not verify a free-generation entitlement or a credit rate for an account, so no guaranteed free workflow or cost estimate is supplied here.
