gstack: Garry Tan’s Agent Workflow Toolkit
gstack: Garry Tan’s Agent Workflow Toolkit. A source-based guide to identity, use and limits.
gstack is Garry Tan's collection of agent workflows and supporting tools for product and software development. Its repository describes roles for planning, design, engineering, review and release; it is a workflow toolkit, not a team of human employees.
How to approach the workflow
Read the current setup and skill documentation, then choose the stage you need: clarify a product idea, review a design, inspect an implementation or prepare a release. Check which commands read or change files and what permissions an agent requires. A generated plan or review should be checked against the actual repository and user request.
Is it a substitute for judgment?
No single set of agent roles proves that a product is ready or that every change was tested. Compare the quality and cost of a bounded task with your existing workflow, including the work needed to review the result. The project can change, so consult its current documentation rather than relying on a fixed skill count.
