VarwoChoose the right ArtCraft download
For the AI studio, use ArtCraft's official download page or its browser app. For a sibling application such as PhotoCraft or FilmCraft, use the Craft Apps directory. Its Launcher installs and updates those apps; it is a different entry point from the studio download.
Use ArtCraft on the web without installing
- Open app.getartcraft.com from the official site.
- Follow the app's current account and sign-in prompts.
- Check the available model, provider access and generation cost before starting a render.
This route avoids a desktop installation. It does not imply that hosted AI generation is free or that every desktop workflow is available in the browser.
Install the Windows or macOS studio
The official download page, checked October 16, 2026, lists Windows 10 64-bit or newer and macOS 12 or newer, recommends 8 GB RAM, and lists 2 GB available storage.
- Visit that page and select your platform's current installer.
- Follow the linked official release to download the matching package.
- Open the installer using your operating system's normal installation flow.
- Launch ArtCraft and follow the account instructions. Review generation costs before using a paid provider.
If installation is blocked or your machine does not meet current requirements, consult the project's documentation or use the web option. This guide does not advise bypassing operating-system security protections.
ArtCraft GitHub and building from source
The studio's repository is github.com/storytold/artcraft. Follow its current development setup documentation for source builds, including supported platforms and dependencies. Searching for “art craft github” should lead you back to this official repository, not to an unrelated download mirror.
Building an open-source client is not a promise of a self-contained local AI service. Check the backend, model access and compute required by your intended workflow.
When do you need the ArtCraft Launcher?
Use the Launcher link in the official Craft Apps directory for the sibling creative apps. Start from an app's own page if you only want its standalone installer. App-specific platform support and development status can differ from the main studio.
Before your first generation
Read the official pricing terms. Free software, an ArtCraft credit plan and a third-party provider subscription are different things. Confirm which one your selected model uses.
